Xiaomi's online program for the Redmi Note 9S recently concluded and is a new name for the previously announced Redmi Note 9 Pro. While this is certainly a great phone, it has nothing to pick up.
The Redmi Note 9S is built with a 6.67-inch IPSLCD panel with 1080 x 2400px (20: 9 aspect ratio) resolution. Xiaomi says it can reach 450 NIT brightness, supports HDR10 and complies with TEV Rhineland standards to reduce blue light emissions. It is also the first phone in the cartoon hole series for a selfie camera, which Xiaomi calls TinyDisplay. And last, but not least, the screen has a Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer, and so on the back of the phone.
The Snapdragon 720G is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM inside of you, while the storage options are 64GB and 128GB respectively. You can extend this with a microSD card slot.
Speaking of which, there are two more fan favorite features that will last for at least a year and 3.5mm audio jack and IR blaster.
The square shaped camera module on the back packs four cameras. The 48MP main has a f / 1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-violet unit with a f / 2.2 aperture and a 5MP macro lens. The final piece is a 2MP depth sensor camera for better portraiture.
The display's cut-out has a 16MP camera with f / 2.5 aperture and can record 120 fps slow motion video.
The 5,020mAh battery maintains light, which partly explains why the phone weighs 209 grams. The battery can charge up to 18W, but Xiaomi offers 22.5W capacity brick in the box.
Finally, the fingerprint reader has been pushed backwards. It seems that most budget phones these days prefer the Side Mounted Fingerprint Scanner + Power Button combo.
The 4GB / 64GB configuration for 6GB / 128GB in Malaysia is MYR799 (5 165) and MYR899 (€ 190). In Singapore, the handset will go on sale for SGD 299 and SGD 349 respectively. In Thailand, it will cost THB 6,499 and THB 7,999 and AliExpress will cost $ 249 and 9279, while shipping worldwide.
