The Redmi Note 8 Pro has been running the latest MIUI 11 for a while, and yet it is still based on the ancient Android 9 pie everywhere in the world except in China. Updating Android 10 for the Global Ready Note 8 Pro model has been working for several months, but for some reason it actually needs more time to get started.
However, champagne has not yet been found. So far, a new update of Redmi Note 8 Pro, bringing Android 10 into the most popular mid-range device, is only coming to fruition in Pakistan. It's unclear how long it will take us to see it in other markets - but at least it's not bound to China.
Update is MIUI 11 v.11.0.2.0.QGGEUXM, which comes with 1.9GB of downloads over the air. It brings together the level of security patches for February 2020, as well as the overall security of the system and the payment security locally for India. The channel notes, but here's something weird.
First, the "EU" in the blood version means that this is an update to the Ready Note 8 Pro's global model in Europe, and yet it has made its appearance in Pakistan. Secondly, the local security payment icon for India will certainly make more sense to find this device in India's specific ROM, which should include "IN" instead of "EU".

On the one hand, let's hope Xiaomi releases its software update act together and releases globally. Source
